What is RealAudio?
RealAudio is a music format developed by RealNetworks that
compresses music file to a very small size - small enough to download and listen through
the internet. Which is better RA or
MP3/VQF?
In terms of quality, Mp3 is better than RealAudio. But the purpose
of RealAudio is to be small, small enough so it can be downloaded in minutes and so people
can listen to it first, and also, small enough so you can listen to it while you are
downloading. This process is called streaming.
How do i listen to RealAudio?
To listen to RealAudio songs you have to download a program
called RealAudio G2. Then once you've installed it, you can either listen to it live by
pressing listen in a page where there is a song or you can download some RealAudio
songs to listen to. If you choose to listen live, next time you want to listen to the
song, you have to click listen again. On this site there are some places for you to
download and listen to chinese Realaudio pop songs. Once you have downloaded the song, you
can either double click the song in windows explorer or open RealPlayer then click
"File", the "Open File" to play a song.
